Christmas Music with the Ukulele

An e-book with English Christmas carols for ukulele with re-entrant GCEA tuning (with high G-string):

  1. I Saw Three Ships
  2. Good King Wenceslas
  3. We Three Kings (Video)
  4. Good Christian Men Rejoice
  5. Silent Night (Video)
  6. The Holly and the Ivy
  7. We Wish You a Merry Christmas
  8. Fum, Fum, Fum!
  9. Of the Father’s Love Begotten
  10. The First Nowell
  11. Deck the Halls
  12. Angels We Have Heard on High
  13. Bring a Torch, Jeanette, Isabella
  14. God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen
  15. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing (Video)
  16. Joy to the World
  17. O Holy Night
  18. O Come, All Ye Faithful
  19. O Little Town of Bethlehem (Video)
  20. Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring (Video)

This is a double e-book, consisting of two parts (Session, Solo), both containing the same set of 20 songs.

Both parts consist of score, tablature, chords and lyrics.

Part 1 (Session) contains simple melodies and chords for accompaniment. It’s great for singing, playing chord accompaniment, or easy melody playing. Sample

Part 2 (Solo) contains solo arrangements. The chord symbols in part 2 are meant to clarify the harmonies of the arrangements, and are often different from the chords in part 1. The melodies and lyrics are the same as in part 1, though. Sample

The level of difficulty is mostly really low. Just the last few pieces are a bit more demanding. The last piece is a campanella arrangement of “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring”, which is a challenge even for more skilled players.

The simple melody playing of the pieces 1-19 in part 1 (Session) is very easy and doable for less experienced players as well. However, many of the solo arrangements are pretty easy as well and don’t need much practice to learn. The level of difficulty of the solo arrangements increases from the beginning to the end of the e-book.

A set of MP3 recordings of all arrangements is available too. It is sold separately, because the download is relatively large.

(Please note that the MP3 and video recordings are not always 100% identical with the arrangements. However they always represent very well how the respective arrangement can be played with the ukulele.)

      Hello, Dean!

Thanks that you contacted me immediately, that’s the best thing to do if this happens.

Yes, I see you purchased the Christmas book. You *should* have received an e-mail, I see that an automated e-mail was sent to you, but sometimes e-mails get deleted by mail providers because of spam filters. (This is called “false positives”.) It’s also possible that it didn’t pass your spam filter on your e-mail client, in this case you can perhaps still find it in the spam folder.

I sent you another mail from info @ ukulele-arts. If you didn’t get it (please check your spam folder!), there’s obviously a mail problem. In this case we’ll have to try to send it to you another way. (Please contact us again to let us know!)

      Thanks for your patience.

      Best Regards
      Wilfried Welti
